It started in the summer before my senior year of high school when I decided I wanted to be a college coach. Not just any college coach though a division one coach and not only that but the most winningest coach in all of womens basketball. That is my ultimate goal.
I helped my dad coach 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls travel basketball all four years of high school. I learned so much from that experiance. I learned how patient you have to be with little kids and how much they can learn. All the players improved so much in just 2 months.
My playing career started at a very young age going to camps, being the ball girl for the varsity team, to playing aau and aybt. I have been luck enough to have some of the greatest coaches ever and that is not just by opinion but the fact that I have won 3 aau state champions, aybt national champions and runners up.
I have learned that to be good at basketball you do not just play from November to February. You play all year round. Sometimes some people may think it is a lot but if you love something and you are passionate enough about something you do what ever it takes, summer, weekends, late night.
